Depending on when the incident occurred and the policy under which you need to make a claim, different claims procedures may apply. We’ll help guide you through the process and ensure you know what information and documentation is required to progress your claim.

- Send your completed claim form to david.mcdonald@hmdi.com.au
- HMD Insurance will lodge the claim with the insurer and advise on the next steps.
Important Tips
- Under no circumstances should you admit any liability or make any offer or enter into and correspondence with any incident which may result in a claim under your policy.
- Completing the claim form is not an admission of liability.
- Gather as much evidence as possible; take photos, take notes, get witness statements, take contact details.
- Notify HMD Insurance immediately, even if you think there may not be a claim
- Forward all documentation you have.
