Glenn is an Owner and Founding Director of HMD with demonstrated insurance and risk management expertise. He has more than 20 years’ industry experience, which has been gained as an insurance and risk specialist across a wide variety of roles at international broking firms in Australia and New Zealand.
He has provided risk management and insurance advisory services to a wide range of clients including the higher education sector, ASX100, not-for-profit organisations, professions, and associations. Through his commitment to understand your business, provide tailored advice and solutions, Glenn will help position your organisation to financially survive any insurable event.
Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science from Waikato University, Postgraduate Diploma of Finance from the University of Auckland and is a Qualified Financial Services Representative of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA).
He is a keen golfer and active in the local rugby community as a coach at the Seaforth Raiders and advisor to the Penguin International Rugby Football Club.

David is an Owner and Founding Director of HMD with over 17 years’ experience in the management of both national and multinational corporate clients. He specialises in the design, placement, and servicing of insurance programs across various industry sectors such as higher education, health and aged care, pharmaceutical, logistics, the gig economy and, the food and beverage industry.
David’s experience has equipped him with an exceptionally diverse skillset that enables him to deliver strategic solutions to our clients. He provides a holistic approach to insurance programs – offering tailored insurance education sessions, regular industry/sector updates, and a long-term strategic approach to placements and insurer relationships.
David holds the relevant expertise and capabilities that will enable him to navigate the complexities of the current insurance environment. This knowledge and expertise will ensure that the most appropriate risk program has been sourced and secured on behalf of his clients.
David is a qualified insurance professional holding a Diploma of Financial Services in broking and is a Senior associate of the Australian New Zealand Institute of Finance.
Like Glenn, David is an avid golfer and is active within the local running community. David has participated in numerous City To Surf and other charitable fund runs.

ABOUT THE INSURANCE ADVISERNET FOUNDATION
The Insurance Advisernet Foundation was established as part of our ongoing commitment to our people, our clients and the wider communities in which we work and serve. Each year, the Foundation supports local Australian and New Zealand organisations that work to help change the lives of individuals, families and communities for the better.
Over the past 10 years, the Insurance Advisernet Foundation is proud to have contributed over $2.5 million to more than 30 different charities. We now aim to donate over $400,000 each year through a variety of community fundraising initiatives. By working closely with our staff, advisers and insurance underwriting partners, our collective goal is to leave an important social legacy for generations to come.
Over 98% of our funds are distributed to charities which means less than 2% of our costs are running expenses!
